Transforming Ochero through the Gospel

The Kumam Mission Team recently conducted a powerful week-long evangelism mission in Ochero, Kaberamaido District, bringing the light of Christ to this rural community through various outreach activities.

Our mission focused on three key approaches: door-to-door evangelism, open field crusades, and discipleship training. The team witnessed remarkable breakthroughs as many souls surrendered to Christ and several local churches were strengthened.

Mission Activities
  • Door-to-Door Evangelism: Our teams visited over 300 households, sharing the Gospel and praying for families.
  • Open Field Crusades: Nightly meetings attracted hundreds, with powerful worship and preaching.
  • Discipleship Training: Equipped 45 local believers for ongoing ministry in their communities.
  • Children's Ministry: Special programs reached 150+ children with Bible stories and games.
  • Prayer Walks: Covered the entire sub-county in prayer against spiritual strongholds.
Mission Impact

By God's grace, we recorded 187 decisions for Christ, saw 12 people healed of various ailments, and established 5 new home fellowship groups. The local churches reported increased attendance and renewed passion for evangelism.

The Ochero mission was transformative! The Kumam Mission Team brought revival to our community. Many backsliders returned to Christ and new believers were added to the church.
